Patricia Vance, 60, Owatonna

Patricia Maire Vance, 60, passed away Aug. 18, 2021, at her home.
She was born in Freeport, Illinois on April 10, 1961 to Norman and Wava (Fager) Blair. She graduated from Dassel Cokato High School in 1979. She attended Mankato State University and Worthington Community College receiving an associate degree in open studies.
She married Scott Vance in 1982 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. They made their home in Mankato, eventually moving to Worthington for 30 years. She worked 15 years at School District 518 with special needs children and adults. She worked off and on for many years at Domino’s Pizza.
She loved her pets, rescuing many animals over the years. She enjoyed target shooting, nature, recycling, horses, county fairs, motorcycles, trampoline, marching bands and reading.  She is survived by her husband of 39 years Scott, parents Norman and Wava; brother, Allen (Jackie) Blair; sister, Tina (Monte) Raske; many nieces and nephews. Pat will always be remembered by three special children: Cammi, Sophia, Callen.
She is preceded in death by her mother-in-law Patricia, and all of her grandparents. Celebration Of Life was held on Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2021 at the Brick-Meger Funeral Home in Owatonna
