Audrea Horejsi is the office manager/receptionist in the Times’ satellite office in Owatonna. She has been with the newspaper since July 2023.

“I love my job and have wonderful co-workers,” says Horejsi. “I have worked in an office setting most of my career, at various companies, since my senior year in high school. I have also worked in various positions working with children.”

Prior to joining the Times, she worked as receptionist/scheduler at Horizon Eye Care Professionals in Owatonna and as a teacher’s assistant at Leo Augusta Children’s Academy in Blooming Prairie.

She was born and raised in Owatonna and is now married with two daughters and living in the Ellendale/Geneva area. She has tried running two self-owned businesses in the past 10-12 years in hopes of trying to succeed with art and creation with and for children, but they were unsuccessful; hence, returning to the workplace. She is happy to be only working part-time so she can enjoy time to herself as well as help bring in some extra income.

Horejsi loves to work with creativity, art, writing poems, keeping a daily journal, scrapbooking and memory making, which is what she spends her free time doing. She spends as much time as she is able to with her friends and family, who mean everything to her.
