Amanda Mayorga, 51, Owatonna
It is with great sadness that the family of Amanda Curiel announces her sudden passing on Friday, May 10, 2024, at the age of 51, surrounded by her loving family.
Amanda was born in Bolaños Mexico to Magdalena Mayorga and Leonardo Curiel and was the fifth of six children.
The funeral mass was Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Owatonna.
Amanda carried many titles; daughter sister, but her best known title was mom. There are not enough words to describe such a genuinely loving person who was truly loved by many. She made friends wherever she went, and she was always happy, and she loved others in any way possible. She liked to help others in any way possible. She was the person you could count on at any time. She cared more about other people than herself. Our family will miss her a lot, but we will always carry her in our hearts and her memory will always live on.
Amanda is survived by four children: Vicente Guzman, Sergio Guzman, Rogelio Guzman, Adriana Alejandra Guzman, and her husband Rene Marcos and granddaughters: Ximena, Kylie, Renata, Maite.
She is already happy with her mother Magdalena and her brother Maclovio Curiel.
Our family would love for everyone who knew her to come see her one last time, share great memories, and celebrate her life. This is the way she would like to be remembered as a loving woman who enjoyed life every day. Thanks to all the people who were there for her with calls and messages and her friends who were watching over her dreams the last few days. Thank you and may God bless our mother's journey and take care of us from wherever she is and thank you again to everyone who was attentive to her health. God bless you all.
