Cheryl Olson, 82, Owatonna

Cheryl Olson, age 82, of Owatonna, passed away Feb. 5, 2025, surrounded by family, after a long illness.

A Celebration of Life service will be at a later date.

Cheryl was born to Leonard and Frances Prescott in Minneapolis. She graduated from Edison High School in 1960.

Cheryl married Russell Obernolte Jr. in Minneapolis. The couple had four children: Debbie, Scott, Lee, Todd. Russell passed away in 1989.

In 1992, Cheryl married David Olson in Owatonna.

Cheryl is survived by husband David; children: Debbie Braulik, Scott (Lori) Obernolte, Lee (Maia) Obernolte, Todd (Jeannette) Obernolte; stepdaughter Jill (Dick) Strodtman; 11 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 step great-grandchild, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her first husband Russell Obernolte Jr., and her parents.
