NOTICE
The City of Blooming Prairie would like to remind residents that depositing grass clippings and other vegetation on the public streets presents a danger to the water quality of our local watershed and is also a violation of city ordinance. Street 
sweeping can catch some of the debris, but it is not the most economical use of taxpayers’ dollars. Lawn clippings, leaves and other debris often clump and clog catch basins, contributing to flooding in your neighborhood. Please collect and dispose of grass clippings properly or leave on your lawn.
