Dillon Easton, 26, Blooming Prairie
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the devastating loss of Dillon Duane Easton. He passed on November 17, 2024, peacefully in his sleep at the young age of 26.
Dillon was born to Jody and David Easton in Austin, Minnesota. Dillon graduated from Blooming Prairie High School and was currently a student in one of Riverland Community College’s agricultural programs.
Dillon enlisted in the National Guard in 2023 and completed basic training at Fort Moore, in Georgia on November 15, 2023. He continued his Advanced Individual Training at Fort Eisenhower, Georgia, graduating with honors for Information Technology Specialist on April 17, 2024.
Dillon was a talented musician, nature enthusiast, and cook. His love of music led him to playing drums, guitar and the keyboard where he wrote some music of his own. Dillon had a natural talent for gardening that he used to grow cacti, tomatoes, and watermelon from seed and then made and processed soups, pickles and more.
Along with a green thumb, Dillon had a knack for tinkering with a variety of mechanical equipment including his own vehicles.
He would drop anything to help someone in need and had kindness and empathy towards all.
God welcomed him home with open arms.
He is survived by his parents, David and Jody Easton; sisters, Cortney and Carissa Easton (Logan Underwood); along with grandparents, Wayne and Connie Williamson and Robert and Jane Easton; aunts, uncles, and cousins.
