Donna Herzog, 82, Owatonna

Donna Herzog of Owatonna, died Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at her home.

Donna June Herzog was born June 16, 1942, to Donald and Genevieve (Hanson) Jensen in Owatonna. She was a graduate of Owatonna High School.

Donna met Ron Herzog in high school and the two married on Aug. 15, 1959, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Owatonna.

Donna was a stay-at-home mom while raising her young family. Later, when her children were grown, she worked part-time at Federated Insurance and at Brett’s Department Store.

Her life interests included gardening, spending time with her dogs, and taking many trips in retirement.

Donna is survived by two children, Jeff Herzog of Rochester and Michelle Cashman of Elkton, Fla.; grandchildren: Jenna, Haley, Hunter, Dylan, Caitlin and Bryan; great-grandchildren Paige, Piper, and Levi; sister Karen Deviny; and beloved family dog, Louie.
