Frank Altrichter, 61, Ellendale

Frank Edward Altrichter, age 61, passed away Nov. 28, 2024, at his home in Ellendale, surrounded by family, after a brief battle with cancer.

Friends may greet the family from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2024, at Brick-Meger Funeral Home, 1603 Austin Road, Owatonna and one hour prior to the funeral at the church. Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5 at Pontoppidan Lutheran Church, 9651 SW 75th St., Ellendale with burial to follow at the church cemetery.

Frank was born to parents Frank H. and Genevive “Gen” (Foley) Altrichter in Duluth.

Shortly after his birth, the family moved to the Owatonna area. Frank graduated from Owatonna High School in 1982. Following high school, he attended Albert Lea Vo-Tech and obtained a 2-year degree in Diesel Engine Technology. This led to a 24-year career with Mid-State Reclamation and Trucking in Lakeville, MN.

Frank married Staci Kubista in 1991 in Owatonna. Frank was a true outdoorsman; he loved to hunt, fish, camp and go snowmobiling. He was always willing to help anyone in need and his family will miss his big heart.

Frank is survived by his wife of 33 years, Staci; son Frank N. Altrichter, Ellendale; daughter April, Kenyon; and one sister, Theresa (Bob) Caswell, Dodge Center.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents.
