George Jenkins, 81, Blooming Prairie

George Booker Jenkins was born on Oct. 26,1942 and passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 25, 2024, at Prairie Manor Nursing Home in Blooming Prairie.

He was preceded in death by parents Henry and Catherine, brother John (Melba) and sister Carol.

Survivors include sisters Judy (Gene), Mary, Marlene (Art), Margi and brothers Tom (Ginny) and Paul (Cheri). In addition, his children Mike (Kris), Carmen (Kevin) and Dave. Grandchildren Brittney (Cory), Andrew (Brianna), Lucas (Torri), Brett, Jenna (Ryan) and Shelby as well as six great grandchildren.

Respecting his wishes, there will be no visitation or service.

The family sends their heartfelt gratitude to the residents and especially the staff of Prairie Manor for their exceptional care and professionalism during dad’s stay.
