Gregory W. Greseth, 32, Wanamingo

Gregory W. Greseth age 32, of Wanamingo, died on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018 in a motor vehicle accident.
The funeral service was Tuesday, Oct. 16, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church – Aspelund in rural Wanamingo. Burial with military honors by the Wanamingo Veterans Honor Guard was in the church cemetery.
Gregory William Greseth was born on May 29, 1986 in Zumbrota to Daniel and Margaret (nee Maring) Greseth. Greg grew up in rural Wanamingo, attended Wanamingo Schools and graduated from Kenyon-Wanamingo High School in 2004.
In 2006, Greg entered the U.S. Air Force. In May of 2009, he was deployed to Qatar, Saudi Arabia. He was honorably discharged in 2014 and he returned to the Wanamingo area.
Greg started taking classes for a nursing degree in Rochester and worked as a bartender at the Guilty Goose and several other jobs while attending classes. Greg enjoyed spending time with his family and most importantly with his fiancée Aimee and his three boys.
Greg is survived by his fiancée Aimee, three sons, Carson, Carter and Cooper all of Wanamingo; parents, Margaret and Dan Greseth of Zumbrota; brothers, Peter Greseth, Paul Greseth, Michael (Jennifer) Greseth, David (Raynell) Greseth and Mark Greseth; paternal grandfather, Donald Greseth of Wanamingo; maternal grandmother, Rose Maring of Kenyon; three nephews; one niece; aunts; uncles; cousins and many friends, including his lifelong buddies, Alex Hanson, Chris Tewes, Blake Hanson, John Welzant, Joe Sabin, Daniel Radloff and Mitchell Ryan.
Greg was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Phyllis Greseth and maternal grandfather, Harold Maring.
