Alfred Procpio Jr., 75, Ham Lake

Alfred Prcopio Jr., age 75, of Ham Lake, Minn. passed away May 28, 2021 at the Owatonna Hospital, from complications of agent orange.Friends greeted the family on Monday, May 31, 2021 at the Brick Meger Funeral Home followed by a funeral service presided by Deacon Scot Berkley. Interment took place at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis with military honors the following day.Al was born to parents Alfred Sr. and Mary Mirarchi July 28, 1945 in Boston. He graduated from Charlestown High School in 1963. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Navy serving on the U.S.S. Intrepid during Vietnam War. Al was honorably discharged after four years of service.
On May 21, 1965, Al married Joan Zsebe at US. Naval Chapel in Brooklyn, N.Y. For 31½ years he worked at the Milwaukee Road, Soo, Canadian Pacific lines as a railroad supervisor.
Al was an avid fisherman, he was a member of the VFW, and the Silver Rails Association.Al is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joan; one son, Joe (Jess) Procopio, Owatonna, grandchildren, Jameson Bryant, Patty Jo Procopio, Rosie Procopio, Samantha Bryant; son-in-law, Rob Bryant, St. Cloud, sister-in-law, Mary Ann Gaglaiano, Cudahy, Wis.Al was preceded in death by his daughter, Gina Bryant, and his parents, sisters, Marie Green and Janice Herron.
