Carol Gleason, 76, Littleton, Colo.

Carol Jean Gleason, exceptional wife, mother, and grandmother, of Littleton, Colo. passed away unexpectedly with her family by her side on Jan. 27, 2022 at the age of 76.
Carol is survived by her husband Terry, son Joe, daughter Jenny (Ben) Schreiner, grandsons Luke (17) and Jack (14), brothers David Munsinger, Rick (Linda) Munsinger, Joe (Linda) Munsinger, sisters Mary (Jerry) Karls, Sharon (Jim) Schmidt, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Carol was born in St. Cloud on Dec. 17, 1945 to Gordon and Regina (Loza) Munsinger. She graduated in 1963 from Cathedral High School. Carol followed in her mother's footsteps and became a registered nurse having graduated from St. Gabriel's Nursing School in Little Falls in 1966.
Carol met her husband, Terry, of 48 years in 1972 and married in 1973. They moved around a few times following Terry's career, but ultimately raised their family in Colorado.
Carol was a devoted and attentive wife, mother, and grandmother. Carol and Terry enjoyed skiing for many years in Minnesota and Colorado. Walks on the Highline Canal Trail and around the forests near the Grand Lake, Colo. cabin were special for Carol. She was always on the lookout for wildlife, flowers, and her favorite squirrels. Carol kept an eye open for interesting rocks and the shelves at her home and cabin are lined with her collections. She was a dedicated animal lover.
Carol adored her grandsons, Luke and Jack, and wanted to give them the world. Carol will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
Funeral services to take place at St. Mary's Church in Littleton, Colo., are pending. Any donations in remembrance of Carol could be made to any animal rescue organization.
