Delores Murphy, 98, Owatonna

Delores “Dee” Murphy, 98, of Owatonna, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022.
She was born on Aug. 15, 1923 in Minnesota Lakes to Louis and Lilly (Zabel) Herman. On Jan. 6, 1945, she married Robert “Bob” Murphy in Sheepshead Bay, New York. She enjoyed a simple life and took pleasure in everyday things. She is survived by one daughter, Vicki Reupke of Blaine, Minn.; one son, Gene (Julie) Murphy of Kansas City, Mo.; one sister-in-law Shirley Herman of Rochester; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, five brothers and her son-in-law. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb.12, 2022 at the Brick-Meger Funeral Home with Father Jim Starasinich officiating. Friends may greet the family one hour prior to the service.
