Diane Stark, Owatonna

Diane Kaye Stark, passed away April 6, 2026, surrounded by family in Owatonna.

Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Brick-Meger Funeral Home, 1603 Austin Road, Owatonna. Friends may greet the family one hour prior to the funeral starting at 10 a.m.

Diane was born to parents Glenn and Gladys (Hanson) Wincell in West Concord.

She married Glen Stark at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church Dec. 15, 1963. While Glen worked at Wenger, Diane stayed home to raise their five children.

Diane kept active volunteering with many church activities, including playing piano for the children’s choir. She was a member of the Owatonna Garden Club, Operation H.O.P.E., and helped in the restoration of the Rice Lake Church.

Diane loved coffee time with family, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed quilting, flower gardening and visiting the local farmer’s market. During her stay at Birchwood Cottages, she enjoyed arts and crafts, playing Bingo, and book club.

Diane is survived by her children, Scott (Jan) Stark, Florida, Denise Stark, Rochester, Patty Stark, Owatonna, MaryAnn Stanley, Owatonna, Mike (Suzy) Stark, Eagan; grandchildren, Rachael, Jennifer, Rebecca, Shelby, Samantha, Andrea, Cody and Lindsay; great-grandchildren, Aleeah, Piper, Nora, Gracey, Elliott, Lexie, Violet, Kora and Beckett; brothers, Duayne, Dale and Gregg Wincell.

She was preceded in death by her husband Glen, and her parents.
