James Madson, 75, formerly of BP

Longtime resident of the Blooming Prairie area, registered Holstein dairy farmer and gladiolus breeder James Palmer Madson, son of the late Peder and Inez (née Williamson) Madson, passed away peacefully April 20, 2022.
He had been in care for several years with Alzheimer’s at the Lakewood Memory Care Unit, in Staples, Minn.
He was born on June 26, 1946.
He is survived by son U.S. Air Force Lt. Colonel Christopher Madson in Louisiana, and daughter Jennifer Anikeev in Wisconsin and two sisters Betty Bush in Phoenix, and Linda (Pat) Goodnature in Geneva, and brother Steven (Paula) Madson in Owatonna.
A memorial service is being planned for a future date.
