Janet Veach, 71, Owatonna

Janet Veach, 71 of Owatonna, passed away Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022, in Owatonna surrounded by her family.
Private services will be held at a later date. Janet was born April 3, 1950, to Roger and Kay (Martin) Ackerman in Illinois. She was 4 foot 11 inches with a 10-foot voice. Her father was in the Army Air Corps, making her a military brat, spending time in Texas, Japan, and all over the United States. She married William Veach in November of 1972. Janet worked as a correctional officer and bartender. She was a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary. Janet retired in California. She was preceded in death by her parents, MSGT William Veach, and her beloved nephews Barry and Todd Graves. Janet is survived by two sons: Eric (Tammi) Veach, Brian Veach and one daughter, Terry Veach; grandchildren: William, Brody, and Zachary, sister Sharon (Art) Smith, and brother Steve (Julie) Ackerman.
