John Evans, 63, Owatonna

John “Jack” Forsythe Evans, age 63 of Owatonna, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022.

John was born on Dec. 15, 1958 in Minneapolis. He was the son of Irwin “Bud” and Lois (Schroeder) Evans of Waseca.

Jack attended Waseca High School, graduating in 1977. During his time in school, he enjoyed playing football and basketball. After high school, he received his electrican’s degree at Albert Lea Vocational Technical Institute.

Jack enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Twins and Vikings fan.

Jack is survived by his sister, Mary Jo Evans of Maple Grove.

He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

No public services will be held. A private gravesite service will be held for family and friends at a later date.
