Lena Wallace, 94, Owatonna

Lena Elizabeth Wallace of Owatonna died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022, at Traditions II in Owatonna.
Lena was born Dec. 5, 1927, to Robert R. and Ashlyn (Benfield) Nantz in Belmont, N.C. She was united in marriage to Herbert Charles Wallace on Dec. 16, 1959, in Las Vegas. The couple moved to Owatonna in 1971. Lena worked in sales.
Lena’s hobbies were gardening, crochet, knitting and fishing with Herbert. She was a life member of the VFW and American Legion Auxiliaries. She was also a life member of the DAVA – Fleet Reserve Association for over 30 years and the Eagles Auxiliary for over 30 years.
Lena is survived by her daughter Emma (Sean) Hansen, two grandchildren Ashlyn and Samuel. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Lena was preceded in death by her parents, husband Herbert in 1998, four sisters: Hazelene, Alma, Mae, and Kathleen; four brothers: Paul, Fred, Deward, and Robert, Jr.
