Marian Hensrud, 92 Albert Lea

Marian Elaine (Lewis) Hensrud, 92, passed away peacefully Dec. 8, 2021 in Albert Lea.
Marian Lewis Hensrud was born Jan. 3, 1929 in Blooming Prairie to Leonard and Avery (Nelson) Lewis. Marian graduated from Blooming Praire High School in 1946. On Oct. 25, 1947, Marian married the love of her life, Irvin Hensrud. From this union, they had a son, Gary, and a daughter Nancy. When Irvin passed away in 1993, they had been married 46 years.
Marian worked at Truth Hardware for a time, with most of her adult life working at nursing homes in Pine River, Minn. and in Blooming Praire. She loved helping the people in the homes making them feel needed. In her spare time, she loved to do tole paintings, painting, and arts and crafts, reading, baking and gardening. Also an avid pet lover having many pets thru out the years. She also loved when family and friends would visit her.
She is survived by her sister, Arlene Deming of Missouri; ex daughter-in-law Cynthia Hensrud; grandchildren: Erica Ekerson, Janet and Sara Hensrud, Jesse Hensrud, Molly and Lacey Hensrud, Barb (Chad) Katzung, Tammy Johnson, Irvin Earles, Kent (Ang) Earles, and many great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Avery Lewis; husband, Irvin Hensrud; son, Gary Hensrud; daughter Nancy Earles; brother-in-laws: Richard Deming, Palmer Hensrud and Clifford Hensrud; sister-in-laws: Majorie Hensrud and Marian E. Hensrud and son-in-law, David Earles.
Marian will be interred at the Westfield Cementary in Hayfield at a later date.
