Norman Sorensen, 72, Salinas, CA

Norman Floyd Sorensen of Salinas, Calif., was born Dec. 20, 1949 and died Sept. 10, 2022 due to complications from COPD.

He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd, mother, Madeline and sister, Diane.

He is survived by his wife, Naomi, and her children, Joann (Brock), AnnaMarie (DelRosario), Tammie, Anthony, and several grandchildren. He is also survived by his children from first wife Maridee; Michelle, Adam (Janelle), Nathan (Ashley), Mandee, and several grandchildren. Also survived by his brothers, Mark (Cindy), Brian (Debra) and Daniel (Christina), nieces and nephews.

Ashes will be laid to rest with his parents at the Blooming Prairie Cemetery.

He loved all things Peterbilt, hot coffee, popcorn and ice cream. His fearless hardworking attitude, sense of adventure and quickness to laughter will be missed by all who knew him.
