Sue Armstrong, 68, Owatonna

Sue Armstrong, 68, of Owatonna, passed away peacefully on the morning of Wednesday, January 7, 2026, surrounded by the family she loved so dearly. She was born on Sept. 22, 1957.

A devoted mother, grandmother, and sister, Sue's life was defined by her dedication to those she held close and the strength she showed throughout her journey.

She was the beloved sister to her four brothers: Dale Armstrong, Dennis Armstrong, Leonard Armstrong, and Kris Armstrong. Her legacy lives on through her children: Eren Donahue, Crissy Donahue, and Michael Donahue. She is also survived by her two cherished grandchildren, who brought her immense joy in her later years.

Sue has been reunited with her eldest son, Patrick Donahue (1981–2006), whom she carried in her heart every day since his passing.

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. The family wishes to thank everyone for their support and prayers during this difficult time.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Owatonna Eagles Club.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be expressed to Sue’s family. Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna has been entrusted with arrangements.
