John Farrar Jensen, 90, Kasson

John Farrar Jensen, 90, of Kasson died July 12, 2019 at Edenbrook Skilled Nursing Home, Rochester.  He was born to Torkild and Margaret (Farrar) Jensen on June 23, 1929. John married Joan Larson on June 14, 1950.
He worked for Marigold, Coca Cola and the K&M Telephone Company.  John enjoyed camping, fishing and going to coffee with the guys.
John is survived by his wife, Joan; children Daniel (Ila) Jensen of Port Orchard, Wash., Delores (Lorie) (Bruce) Tuve of Rochester, Minn., Diane (Jodi) (Steve) Schulz of Plainview, Minn., and Dana Jensen of Marion, Iowa; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; brothers Harry (Sandy) Jensen, Lawrence (Brenda) Jensen and James (Judith) Jensen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Torkild and Margaret Jensen; and sisters Dottie (in infancy) and Mildred Holtan.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, July 18 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, with Pastor Nirmala Reinschmidt officiating.
