Larry William Huckins, 67, Mantorville

Larry William Huckins, 67, of Mantorville,  passed away peacefully, Monday, Sept. 28, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Larry was born Feb. 16, 1948 in Cresco, Iowa to John and Naomi (Gager) Huckins. Larry was a graduate of John Marshall High School. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. On Nov. 14, 1987 in Rochester, Larry married Lori Woolley. Larry and Lori owned and operated L&L Vending. Larry enjoyed woodworking, fishing, camping, Sunday drives and he especially enjoyed gardening. Above all, Larry loved spending time and making memories with his family. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Lori; son, Darren (Elizabeth) Huckins of McGregor, Iowa; six grandchildren, Phillip, Shane, Heather, Nick, Kayla, Tonya; four great-grandchildren, Lance, Hailey, Angel and Clayton; three sisters, Virginia Bakken, Zelda (Dean) Majerus, Sonja Kolb and brother, Jerry Huckins. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, John and Naomi and by his brother, Stanley. A funeral service was held on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, Rochester.
