Paul Starman, 82, Owatonna
Paul Edward Starman of Owatonna, passed away in the early morning hours of Nov. 20, 2024. He was 82 years old.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 609 Lincoln Ave. S., Owatonna. The family will have a private burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Trinity Preschool Scholarship fund.
Paul was born April 10, 1942, to Frank and Ruby (Horecka) Starman. He graduated from Dodge Center High School in 1959.
He was united in marriage to Jane Pribyl on July 31, 1971. Paul farmed until 1985 and then worked in the manufacturing industry until his retirement at age 70.
Paul was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, NHRA and National Sprint Car Association. He was an avid sports fan, especially NASCAR, Minnesota Wild Hockey, Minnesota Twins Baseball, and New York Yankees Baseball. He was also a collector of sports memorabilia.
Paul is survived by his wife, Jane; daughter Tracy Larsen of Plymouth; son Jason Starman and daughter-in-law Becky of Mesquite, Texas; brother Wayne Starman and sister-in-law Janet of Owatonna; sister-in-law Sandy Mahon of Anchorage, Alaska; as well as several nieces and nephews.
