Peter Grubish, 61, Owatonna

Peter Jay Grubish, age 61, of Owatonna, passed away Thursday, Aug. 15, 2024.

Visitation will be held Monday, Aug. 26, 2024, from 4–7 p.m. at Brick-Meger Funeral Home, 1603 Austin Road, Owatonna.

Pete was born May 23, 1963, to Wayne and Donna (Fritze) Grubish. He was the middle of six children. He attended Owatonna Senior High School.

On May 24, 1986, he married the love of his life, Terri (Cremers) Grubish, together they had two children Molly and Willie.

Pete worked under many different titles and job roles during his 35 plus years of employment at Viracon.

In life, he enjoyed spending time working on his lawn, keeping tabs on the weather so he could keep all of his loved ones aware, and baking treats for his grandkids.

Pete is survived by his wife Terri, children Molly (Brad) Busho, and Willie Grubish; grandchildren Paythen and Easton; siblings Lisa (Randy) Richmond, Lori (Scott) Oeltjenbruns, Steve (Samona) Grubish and Jennifer Van Wyke; mother-in-law Marilyn Cremers; siblings-in-law Cheryl (Greg) Kytola, Lisa Dahl, and Heather Otto; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Donna, and brother Tim.
