Happy Birthday.
It’s just a number, but it is a BIG number.
My three grandchildren, Kaley, Jenna, Ryan, and my son Troy and his wife Nancy wanted to give me a special birthday present. I was not crazy 10 years ago about turning 70, so I vetoed it.
As I neared this new number, 80, I told Judy I wanted a Big Bash.
My eldest grandchild, Kaley, said, “Grandpa, we know how much you love Disney and thus we are taking you to Disney World for your 80th birthday.”
Yes, older people do go to Disney World. Disney World in Orlando, Fla., and Disneyland in California are always on our radar.
On May 21, the day before my actual birthday, it sank in. It really was my birthday.
Everyone was wearing a HAPPY BIRTHDAY button.
Hi Howard! Happy Birthday!
I have never had "Happy Birthday” sung to me so many times. I loved it, I confess. I wore the button the entire stay of our vacation.
It’s my birthday!
