Richard L. Eggert, 86, Kasson

Richard L. Eggert, 86, of Kasson passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec. 14 surrounded by loved ones.
Richard was born April 17, 1932 to Herman and Letha(Brown) Eggert. Richard was a military veteran having served in the Korean War. He retired from the US Postal Service.
Richard is survived by his four children, Kimberly Eggert and Ernie Holt of Chatfield, Jeffrey (Janie) Eggert of Austin, Texas, Lisa (Randy) Moorhead of Madison, Wis., and Shawn Eggert of Kasson, as well as two sisters, one brother, nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death
by his wife of 49 years, Margaret (Geary) Eggert, both parents, two sisters, three brothers, and one great- great grandchild. A celebration of Richard’s life was held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, on Tuesday, Dec. 18 with Pastor Nirmala Reinschmidt officiating.
