SCSO releases video of Freeborn County shooting

The Steele County Sheriff’s Office has released body worn camera footage of the fatal shooting of Nathaniel Dewitt Bailey, 44, of Albert Lea. One of five officers who fired their weapon during the June 10 incident is Steele County Deputy Sean Robbins, who along with the others, was placed on critical incident leave.

Bailey, who was initially sought as a suspect in a domestic assault, led law enforcement on a high-speed chase back to the site of the assault. Authorities later found his mother, Brenda Kay Krause, 66, dead at the residence.
