Angeline Fineran, 84, Owatonna
Angeline ‘Angie’ Fineran, 84 of Owatonna, joined Jesus in Heaven on Monday, Oct. 2, 2023. Friends greeted the family on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2023, at Brick-Meger Funeral Home. Funeral service to followed.
Angie was born Nov. 22, 1938, in Lourdes, Iowa. She was lovingly raised by her mother and her grandmother in Austin. She was united in marriage 64 years ago to Eugene Fineran in June 1959.
Angie devoted herself to her family as a stay-at-home wife to her husband, and mom to her three children. Many special memories were made during weekend camping trips.
Angie loved spending time with her five grandchildren; reading books with them; playing games; feeding the ducks; going to garage sales; shopping at the dollar store; and many camping trips full of memories.
She was so looking forward to being a great grandma. The last thing she said to Chelsie was to be sure to take care of ‘our’ baby.
She so enjoyed reading and could be found with an open book or kindle until her eyesight no longer allowed her to do so.
Gene and Angie started and ran a plumbing business together until their retirement.
After retirement, they enjoyed traveling in their motor home exploring different areas of the United States.
She will be deeply missed by her husband Eugene; children Marsha Ritter (Peter); Michele (Dave) Bendorf; Mike (Julie) Fineran; five grandchildren: Ryan Ritter (Courtney); Kayla (Alec) Schmidt; Matt Bendorf, Noah Fineran; and Tom (Chelsie) Bendorf; and Sharon Jacobson who was also like a daughter to her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Pathways of Steele County, Inc., where Angie was a volunteer.
