Arthur Roy Stoltz, age 84, of Owatonna died on Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023, at the Benedictine Living Community in Owatonna.

He was born the son of Henry and Laura (Kruesel) Stoltzon Nov. 7, 1938, in Owatonna. He grew up in the Owatonna area living several places before the family settled on a farm northwest of Hope. He attended Owatonna High School.

After high School, he farmed with his brother Glen and was a lifelong trucker. He hauled for the canning company, Cake O, Michealitz and Miles Homes.

On March 24, 1984, he married LouEllen. Art retired in 2008 and lived on the farm until moving to Koda in 2018. He enjoyed attending auctions, collecting toy tractors and tinkering in his shop collecting tools. He loved visiting with anybody and spending time with his girls. He also enjoyed lawn mowing, gardening, farming and thrashing shows.

Art is survived by his daughters Kate (and Drew) Joenks of Owatonna, Betsy Stoltz of Owatonna and dear friend LouEllen Stoltz (and Shirley) of Owatonna. He is also survived by his sister Wilma Haberman of Hope and many other extended relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Paul Stoltz, Gloria Schuler, Glen Stoltz, Jean Weber and Eldon Stoltz.

Visitation will be held Sunday, Feb. 26 from 5-8 p.m. at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna and one hour prior to the service at St. John Lutheran Church, 1301 Lincoln Ave., Owatonna. Funeral services will be held at St. John Lutheran Church on Monday, Feb. 27, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Dave Klawiter officiating. Interment will be in the Steele Center Cemetery.
