Barbara McColley, 85, Owatonna

Barbara Jean McColley, born Nov. 29, 1937, passed away peacefully at Traditions in Owatonna on July 30, 2023.

Barb was the daughter of Emma and Guy Loney of Le Center.

Barb married Duane McColley on July 26, 1958. They were married for 65 years. They had two children Mike (Muc) McColley and Patricia Wanous.

Barb liked to be active in her children and grandchildren’s lives. She enjoyed baking and working in her flower beds.

Barb is survived by her husband, Duane McColley. Her son, Mike McColley (Tracy Shaffer); Mike’s children: Jamie (Jason) Kelm, of Faribault and their children Levi and Axl; Jessica (Jason) Lee of Plymouth and their children, Aryia and Amelia. Her daughter, Patricia (Kevin) Wanous; Patricia’s children: Jacia (Andy) Andrusko of Andover; Jenna Wanous (Jake Lyke) of Owatonna and their son, Beau Wanous-Lyke.

Barb was preceded in death by her parents, and one son-in-law, Kevin Wanous.

Barb will be cremated, and no services are planned at this time.
