Every year, there are degrees given to some FFA members. The Discovery Degree is given to all 8th grade FFA members who have met these requirements: must have taken and agriculture class in either 7 or 8th grade, have FFA dues paid, and participated in a chapter event.
This year, the discovery degree was given to 11 members: Maggie Bruns, Boone Carlson, Cole Christianson, Ethan Grant, Allison Krohnberg, Casey Lyman, Chris Naatz, Megan Oswald, Caleb Smith, Greta Sunde, and Rachael Thompson.
The Greenhand Degree is given to all 9th grade members who have met this requirement: must have been in an agriculture class or SAE. This year, one member received the Greenhand degree: Kaden Finley.
The last possible degree to earn within a local FFA chapter is the chapter degree. This is given to all 11th grade members who have met these requirements: already received their Greenhand Degree, and participated in planning three official functions. This year three members received their Chapter Degrees: Ethan Arett, Jeremy Hocking, Mitchell Oswald.
