BREAKING NEWS: Blooming Prairie death ruled homicide

Dodge County Sheriff Scott Rose has ruled the Friday death of a Blooming Prairie man as a homicide.
Rose identified the victim of the homicide as David Riess, 54, of Blooming Prairie. The Southern Minnesota Regional Medical Examiner’s Office said Riess died as a result of multiple gunshot wounds. His body was discovered Friday night. 
Police continue to look for Lois Riess. She has been identified as a person of interest in the murder, Rose said.
The sheriff also released a more current photo of Riess.
