BREAKING NEWS: Crash kills one person, critically injures 2 others

A crash on U.S. Highway 14 near Claremont has taken the life of one person and critically injured two others Friday morning.
Sgt. Troy Christianson of the State Patrol confirmed one person died and two were airlifted to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester. He said the patrol is still working on notification of the family before they release any names. He hopes to have the names by Friday afternoon.
Christianson said one vehicle was stopped in the roadway attempting to make a left hand turn into Claremont when another vehicle collided from behind. The crash happened at 7:12 a.m.
