BREAKING NEWS UPDATE: Sheriff Rose: "Very active ongoing investigation"

Dodge County authorities remain tightlipped about a body found at a residence southeast of Blooming Prairie Saturday. Early Sunday morning Sheriff Scott Rose told the Times and Independent, “This is a very active ongoing investigation.”
Rose also said, “When we are able to, we will release more information regarding this incident and those involved. Until then we have no additional information available.”
Officers from Blooming Prairie Police and Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to Prairie Wax Worm Farms at 75859 U.S. Highway 218 just outside the city limits of Blooming Prairie Saturday morning.
Sheriff’s deputies protected the scene for most of the day and into Saturday evening.
A law enforcement official confirmed the scene was being treated as a homicide. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension responded to the scene to assist Dodge County with the investigation.
