Cindy Andersen, 55, Blooming Prairie

Cindy L. Andersen, age 55, of Blooming Prairie, passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon, Feb. 2, 2019 surrounded by her loving family at her son’s home in Hastings. 
Cindy was born on Nov. 5, 1963 in Austin to Jens and Faye (Marshall) Andersen. She was a lifelong Blooming Prairie resident and graduated from Blooming Prairie High School in 1982. She loved working on a hog farm and really enjoyed working with her friends at Amesbury Truth in Owatonna. 
Cindy enjoyed auctioning, fishing, and loved her animals, especially her two cats. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her mother, Faye (Don) Cassidy of Claremont; two sons, Dylan (Kayla) Andersen of Hastings, Dalton Andersen of Owatonna; one grandson, Walker Andersen; two brothers, Paul (Ronee) Andersen of Iowa, Troy (Candace) Andersen of Blooming Prairie; and other friends and family, and her two cats, Babes and Buzzy. 
She was preceded in death by her father, Jens Andersen.
Memorial services were held on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019, at the Worlein Blooming Prairie Funeral Home Chapel. The interment will be a private family service. Memorials are preferred to the family.
