Connie Wocelka, 69, Owatonna

Connie Marie (Davis) Wocelka, 69, of Owatonna passed from this life to the embrace of God’s loving arms. After battling cancer for more than two years, she peacefully completed her work on this earth and joined the other angels in Heaven on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the New Richland Care Center.

Connie was born on May 13, 1954 to parents Walter and Genevieve (Conitz) Davis of Edgeley, N.D. She graduated from Edgeley in 1972.

In 1974, Connie moved to Owatonna where she met Paul Wocelka. They were married in 1978.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Paul; sons Sean of Owatonna and Jon of Kasson; granddaughters: Trinity and Sienna; stepdaughter, Nichole; stepson, Anthony and brother, Phillip Davis, along with many in-laws, nieces, nephews and their families.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister and four brothers.

Connie was always willing to help anyone she met and has graciously be quested her body to the University of Minnesota for research.

There will be a celebration of life in Edgeley, N.D. at a later date.
