Dianne Joette Burton, 72, Kasson

Dianne Joette Burton, 72, of Kasson passed away at Cottage Wood in Rochester on July 15, 2018.
Dianne was born on June 19, 1946, the daughter of Joseph and Marjorie (Ewing) Goodsell in Rapid City, S.D. She graduated from Rapid City High School, then attended St. John's MacManara School of Nursing in Rapid City.
Dianne was united in marriage to Gary Burton on Aug. 12, 1967, at Ellsworth Air Force Base in Rapid City, S.D. In 1967, she started work at Mayo Clinic and retired in 2003. Dianne enjoyed knitting, golf, traveling, and was a volunteer in her grandchildren's classroom in the Kasson Elementary School.
Dianne is survived by her husband, Gary Burton, Kasson; daughters, Melissa (Paul) Tjosaas, Kasson; Heidi (Rev. Anthony) Bradseth, Dolgeville, N.Y.; six grandchildren; brother, David (Mia) Goodsell, Rapid City; sisters, Mary Watson, Rapid City; and Sheryl (Jerry) Zayic, Cle Elum, Wash.  
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2018, at the Czaplewski Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 801 7th St. SE in Kasson and one hour before the service at the church on Friday.
The memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 20, 2018, at Faith Lutheran Church, 308 2nd Street NW in Dodge Center with Rev. Barbara Streed officiating. Inurnment will be 2 p.m. on Friday, July 20 at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Preston. 
The family prefers memorials to Alzheimers Research or to Faith Lutheran Church in Dodge Center.
