Donald D. Jensen, 77, Kasson

Donald D. Jensen, age 77 of Kasson, formerly of Blooming Prairie, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Prairie Meadows Senior Living in Kasson.  
He was born April 19, 1941 in Blooming Prairie, the son of Soren and Blanche (Knutson) Jensen. Don grew up in Blooming Prairie and graduated with the Blooming Prairie High School Class of 1959. He was married and later divorced.  
Don made his living for many years working at IBM as a parts director. He loved the outdoors and spent leisure time fishing, camping, and snowmobiling. Don also enjoyed playing cards and was a fan of all Minnesota sports teams. His friends and family will miss him dearly.
Survivors include his children David Jensen of Rochester, Jeff (Andria) Jensen of Kasson, and Lori Jensen of St. Charles; eight grandchildren Shane, Tara, Carli, Cami, Will, Jack, Thomas, and Emma; his brother Darrell (Lu) Jensen of Faribault, his sister Debbie Van Ravenhorst of Savage; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, his son Daniel, and his sister Susie Dunkirk.  
A memorial service was held on Friday, August 3, 2018 at the Blooming Prairie Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at a later date.  
Memorials are preferred to the Jensen family.
