Edward L. Meyer

Edward Louis Meyer, 74, of Kasson, passed away on Feb. 9, 2018 at Mayo Clinic Hospital – St. Marys Campus in Rochester.
 
Edward was born March 8, 1943 in West Concord, to Bernard and Irene (Van Den Hemel) Meyer. On Feb. 5, 1966, he married Sheila Starkson and they later divorced. 
 
He worked for Welsh Brothers Equipment in Dodge Center for many years. In later years, Edward worked for RDM metal fabrication in Dodge Center until his retirement.  He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his dogs and family 
 
He is survived by his daughter Kelly (Brian) Miller of Fountain, daughter Kimberly Wilbourne of Mankato, son Kevin Meyer of Wasioja, and daughter Karla (Royal) Stevenson of Kasson; many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; sisters Louise (Ezra) Erickson of Owatonna, Carol Clough of Kasson, Pat Kubat of Kasson, Rosemary Smith of Mesa, Ariz., and brother John (Kathy) Meyer of Blooming Prairie; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and seven brothers.
 
 
A memorial service was scheduled for Feb. 14 at the Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Dodge Center.
