Elaine Corson, 80, Owatonna

Elaine E. Corson, age 80, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2023, in Owatonna.

Friends may greet the family from 5–7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 8, 2023, at Brick-Meger Funeral Home, 1603 Austin Road, Owatonna and one hour prior to the Funeral Mass at the church. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 810 S. Cedar Ave., Owatonna.

Elaine was born in Owatonna to parents John and Sylvia (Fisher) Spindler. She attended Marian Catholic High School, and later worked a few different jobs.

She was united in marriage to Gary Corson in 1970 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Owatonna.

Elaine took pride in being very organized; a skill she used to run her housecleaning business for many years. Elaine and Gary loved to travel and after retiring they visited 32 countries, 44 states, went on 11 cruises, and many bus day-trips.

Elaine is survived by her husband of 53 years, Gary; children Cynthia (Dale Elsner) Corson, Owatonna, and Kelly (Roger) Jerrow, Faribault; grandchildren Jacob Spinler, Payton (Dylan) Reynolds, and Reese Jerrow; great-granddaughter Harper Spinler and one great-grandchild on the way; siblings Bea Concannon, Karen (Dan) Blaisdell, and Urban (Barb) Spindler.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Louise Spindler.
