Elaine Wondra, 94, rural Blooming Prairie

Elaine E. Wondra of rural Blooming Prairie died Dec. 7, 2015, at Prairie Manor Care Center in Blooming Prairie. 
Mass of Christian Burial was held Dec. 12, 2015, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church at Litomysl.
Elaine was born Aug. 8, 1921, in Geneva Township, rural Freeborn County, the daughter of Frank and Jessie (Mosher) Jensen. She attended country school in rural Steele County. Elaine was married to Alfred Wondra on June 14, 1941, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Newry Township. 
She was a homemaker for all of her life. Along with her husband Alfred, she was a member of the American Motorcycle Association and Holy Trinity Church. Elaine enjoyed gardening, canning with her best friend Mary Haberman as well as baking. Elaine enjoyed having the grandchildren stay on the farm. 
Elaine is survived by seven children Judy Molloy of Faribault, Tom (Rosi) Wondra of Owatonna, Alfred (Alfie) Wondra of Blooming Prairie, Mary (Doug) Goff of Blooming Prairie, Pat (Larry) Motl of Ellendale, Joe (Terry) Wondra of Blooming Prairie and Ann (Steve) Winzenburg of Blooming Prairie; 23 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren (two on the way); and two great great grandchildren. 
Elaine is preceded in death by her husband; granddaughter Amanda; son-in-law Mike; two brothers and an infant sister.
