Gary Conlin, 73, Albert Lea

Gary Conlin, age 73, passed away March 20, 2024, at Good Samaritan Society nursing home in Albert Lea.

Friends may greet family to celebrate Gary's life from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the Owatonna Knights of Columbus Hall, 820 S. Elm Ave., Owatonna.

Gary was born to parents Alvin and Violet Conlin on Oct. 15, 1950, in Dunnell, Minn. He graduated from Fairmont High School in 1968 and continued his education at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Gary worked in the men's clothing business for many years, then Cybex, until he was disabled with Multiple Sclerosis.

Gary married Julie Christofferson in 1983.They divorced in 2016 but have remained close friends.

Gary is survived by Julie; son Chris (Taylor) Conlin and daughter Molly (Jordan) Abramo; grandchildren Abbygail and Abel Abramo and Emberlynn Conlin; sons from a previous marriage, Casey Kim and Ryan Conlin.

He was preceded in death by his parents Alvin and Violet Conlin and daughter Jennifer Conlin-Schmidt.
