Hilda Lorraine Howard, 74, Dodge Center

Hilda Lorraine Howard, 74, of Dodge Center passed away on Sept. 22, 2019, at Squaw Lake, Itasca, Minn.
Hilda was born on Oct. 4, 1944, the daughter of Rudolph and Leona (Kober) Dietrich in Owatonna. Hilda was united in marriage to Donald Trahan on Jan. 31, 1967, and they were later divorced. In June 1978, she married Myron Howard and he passed away in 1986.
Hilda was a cook for many years working at Welsch’s Turkey and Hog Farm in Dodge Center, Sunset Grill in Dodge Center; and Hardees in Owatonna. Hilda enjoyed fishing and camping spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Hilda is survived by her children, Kathy (Robert) Crandall, of Dodge Center; Kenneth (Kari) Trahan, of Williston, N.D.; Teresa (Kenny) Gilbertson, of Kasson; Christy (Justin) Sjol, of Williston N.D.; 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; one brother, Alvin Dietrich, Mantorville; two sisters, Marlene Dietrich, Kasson; and Janet Faber, River Falls, Wis. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 1–2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 25 South Street SW in Dodge Center. The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Nirmala Reinschmidt officiating.
