Gary Vaughan, 72, Owatonna

Gary Vaughan, age 72, of Owatonna, died January 5, 2023 with family by his side.

Friends may greet the family 4-7:00 PM Wednesday January 11, 2023 at the Brick Meger Funeral Home.

Gary was born to parents Raymond and Marion (Vogel) Vaughan in Waseca, MN. He graduated from Janesville High School in 1969.

After graduation he worked for Hudrlik Furniture then Malo Roofing.

He married Judy Lindberg in 1975 in Morristown, MN.

The two made their home in Owatonna, where Gary worked at Harland’s Tire for 38 years.

Gary’s interests were hunting and fishing, hanging out with their neighbors and listening to music. He was known for his great pride he took in his lawn.

Gary is survived by children Jade (Deb) Anderson and Stacy (fiancé Ron Meyer) Vaughan both of Owatonna. Four grandchildren, Tyler Prihoda, Delsin Lussier, Brittany (Tyler) Grunwald and, Tyler (Kayla) Barnett, three great-grandchildren, Meiah, Hadleigh, and Ryker, siblings, Marie (Jerry) Kapaun, Helen (Tom) Tollefson, and Lyle Vaughan. He was preceded in death by wife, Judy, and his parents.
