Micheal Fritts, 52, Owatonna

Micheal “Mike” William Fritts passed away June 20, 2022, at his home in Owatonna.

Mike was born on June 10, 1970 to Rick and Tina Fritts in Rochester. He graduated from Owatonna High School and joined the National Guard. He continued his education at Minnesota State University, Mankato, graduating in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Mike enjoyed spending time in Colorado, hiking, woodworking, reading, exercising and spending time with his family, especially his nephews. Mike is survived by his parents, Rick and Tina Fritts; sisters, Sarah Fritts, Jenny Soderstrom (Kyle); nephews, Sawyer and Dawson Soderstrom. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lyle and Helen Fritts, Bill and Lucille Maricle, uncle, Robert Kelly and cousin, Pam McGovern. A private family service will be held. A gathering of family and friends took place Thursday, June 23, 2022 at the home of Jenny and Kyle Soderstrom in Owatonna. Memorials are preferred to the family and may be mailed to Brick-Meger Funeral Home,1603 Austin Road, Owatonna, MN 55060 to be forwarded to the family.
