Nancy Jensen, 77, Morristown, obituary

Nancy Louise Jensen of Morristown passed away Dec. 24, 2022 at 9:05 a.m. at Rochester Mayo Hospital. She was surrounded by family members as she gained her golden angel wings.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023, at Medford Funeral Home. Friends may greet the family one hour prior to the service at 10 a.m. Interment will follow services at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Nancy was born April 25, 1945, in Sauk Centre, Minn. She was adopted by Milton and Bernice (Binger) Anderka of Faribault. A brother, Charles Anderka, passed away in his younger years.

Nancy attended and graduated from Faribault Senior High School in 1963. She was active in the marching band.

Throughout her life, she enjoyed raising a variety of animals. Nancy belonged to a Gold Valley Saddle Club in Faribault. She enjoyed bowling with friends, and arts and crafts of various kinds. Nancy spent numerous hours either crocheting or reading novels. Nancy had several family pets throughout the years. One of her beloved pets, Molly B, will forever be named on her HHR license plate. Yet all of her pets were special and spoiled with endless love and treats.

Nancy retired from Curvelite/Viracon after 30 years of employment, as did her husband, Paul. After retirement, the couple enjoyed life at Cedar Lake Camping Resort. They also traveled to many places from Canada to the southern border of Texas. They traveled by car, truck, boat, horse, and Nancy’s 1994 Harley-Davidson motorcycle Sportster 883.

Nancy is survived by her lifelong partner and loving husband of 58 years, Paul Jensen, of Morristown. She was the proud mother of four children: Robert Jensen of Blooming Prairie, Carmen (Alvin, Jr.) Clausen of Owatonna, Cheryl L. Jensen (October 1971-May 1977) and Jolene Aase of Medford; six grandchildren: Amber Clausen (Micheal Brander, Jr.) of Elson, Mo.; Kyle Clausen (Kayla Fincher) of Owatonna; Austin Aase (Arianna Rippentrop) of Medford; Autumn Clausen (Brady Wallert) of Owatonna; Jessie Aase of Medford, and KyleeAnn Jensen of Blooming Prairie; three great-grandchildren: Oaklynn Clausen, Milo Branderhorst, and baby “AJ” Aase coming in April 2023.
