Jim Hansen, 63, Owatonna

James (Jim) D. Hansen March 4, 1963 -June 1, 2026

Jim was born to Sidney and Gladys Hansen in Owatonna. He was the youngest of seven siblings. Jim passed away on June 1, 2026, from injuries sustained in an ATV accident.

Jim met the love of his life Stacy Bluhm they were united in marriage in 1993. Jim would always tell you meeting Stacy was the best thing that ever happened to him. Jim's life was filled with adventure, he loved snowmobiling, boating, hunting, and fishing. He went on many fishing trips to the boundary waters and the most memorable trip of his life was when he went to Alaska with his brother Jon, brother-in-law Mike and his nephews Matt and Eric.

Jim and Stacy later bought the family farm and enjoyed many happy years together there. He loved spending time in the solitude of the farm with Stacy. They especially enjoyed all the wildlife, nature and the special bonfires that they had with family and friends. Jim enjoyed good conversations with his brother in laws. He also loved to play cribbage he would get together with his friend Ron as often as he could.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents Sid and Gladys Hansen, his sister Judy Hansen, brother Loren Hansen, brother-in-law Mike Seykora, father and mother-in-law Ed and Arloine Bluhm, sister-in-law Sherry Wacek and his faithful dog Gus.

He is survived by his loving wife Stacy, brother Jon (Linda) Hansen, sisters, Sandy Seykora, Linda (Dave) Zvorak, Donna (Bob) Ayers, in-laws Nan (Bob) Chambers, Tom Wacek and Lori Coon and many special nieces and nephews.

A small family gathering will be held to honor Jim's life. Thank you to everyone who shared a part of his life and all of your thoughts and prayers. Please remember to hold your loved ones a little tighter.
