Kyle Lustig, 50, Owatonna

Kyle William Lustig, 50, of Owatonna, died unexpectedly of natural causes Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2023, at his home.

He was born June 28, 1973 in Owatonna, the son of Marie Ann Lustig. He grew up in Owatonna where he attended school and graduated from Owatonna High School in 1992.

On Aug. 26, 2000, he married Becky Karsten. The couple was blessed with three daughters, Sammy, Sierra and Lex and later separated.

Kyle recently celebrated 25 years at Gopher Sport in Owatonna. When not working, Kyle enjoyed playing video games, camping, fishing, watching movies, grilling, cooking, playing pranks on friends and his girls and was always willing to help people. He especially enjoyed spending time with his three daughters.

He is survived by his daughters, Sammy Lustig, Sierra Lustig and Lex Lustig all of Owatonna and his sister, Tiffany Lustig of Waseca.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Johnson.

Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna on Tuesday, Dec. 19 from 4-7 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna. Burial will be in Owatonna Memorial Gardens in Clinton Falls Township followed by a lunch reception at the funeral home.
