Linda Stommel, 74, New Hampshire

Linda Stommel (Souba), 74, of Salem, N.H. passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.

Linda was born on June 28, 1949, in Long Beach, Calif. to Stanley Brown and Mary Wilcoxin. She was a graduate of Willmar, Minn. high school.

She was married to the love of her life, Thomas Souba on Nov. 7, 1987. They settled down at the farm in Owatonna and worked at the Owatonna Hospital for many years.

Linda was an amazing woman, wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend inside and out and would always say hello to everyone she met. She was kind and caring and loved her friends and family with passion. She loved making quilts and sewing stuffed animals for children who needed an extra hug. She enjoyed going to the pool with her friends and has always enjoyed traveling.

Linda is survived by her children: Shelley Boynton (Hussein), Salem, NH; Scott Boynton (Melissa), Irmo, S.C.; Steve (Angela) Souba, Cocoa, Fla. and grandchildren Ashley, Jacklyn, Veronica, Nichole, Emily, Savannah, Carter, Hamza, and great-grandchildren and sister, Sandy Johnson.

Linda was preceded in death by husband, Thomas Souba and parents and best friend, Mary V. A service will be at the Bohemian National Cemetery in Owatonna.
